A young woman found dead on the grounds of S.J. Willis education centre last week is being remembered on Facebook by friends and members of the community.
Police identified 25 year old Euarchol Wanichpan as the victim, and say foul play is suspected. They also say she may have had ties to the sex trade and the drug community.
Wanichpan was been reported missing in July, and her remains were found by a work crew last Tuesday, which would have been her 26th birthday.
She was last seen by a friend on the night of July 30th at the corner of Richmond Road and Townley Street in Saanich.
A friend, David Barr, told CTV News that Wanichpan was an incredible person who filled his life with hope and dreams.
Many on Facebook are extending their condolences to her family, who travelled to Victoria from Thailand after she went missing.
Investigators are encouraging anyone with information about the case to call them, or report anonymous on Crime Stoppers (1-800-222-TIPS).
