RCMP had to be called to a Saturday night BC Football League game between the Westshore Rebels and the Vancouver Island Raiders when a fan threw coffee in the face of the opposing team's Quarterback's face.
Rebels President Doug Kobayashi tells CFAX 1070 the Rebels had to take action and apologize to the Raiders.
“The fan has been banned from all future Rebel’s games. It only takes one idiot. We have apologized to The Raiders and regret the incident.”
The Rebels won the game and are off to the BC Football Championship game on October 29th which will also be held at Westhills Stadium.
