West Shore RCMP are looking into a report of shots being fired between 2 vehicles about 10 pm in Langford Tuesday night.
It happened near the intersection of Ronald Rd and Chan Place, near Luxton Park.
Witnesses told investigators they saw a dark coloured truck and a white SUV or van exchanged gun fire before speeding away toward Sooke Rd.
Officers recovered several shell casings at the scene and are canvassing the area and speaking to witnesses.
Major Crimes Unit continues to investigate.
