Suspected crack cocaine, cash and drug paraphernalia, and a trailer seized in separate investigations
West Shore RCMP along with K9 officer "Eric" are looking into drug offenses in the area.
On Monday, January 14th, a man walking his dog found a suspicious container near Humpback Road in Langford.
RCMP responded along with Eric, who gave the container a sniff and indicated it was positive for drugs. Insidewas 41 grams of suspected crack cocaine.
Then 2 days later -- on Wednesday -- RCMP searched a home in the 2300 block of Sooke Road in Colwood following a month-long drug trafficking investigation.
Once again Eric assisted, and an undisclosed amount of suspected cocaine, cash and drug paraphernalia, as well as a stolen trailer was seized.
A 37 year-old Colwood man, known to police, was arrested at the home. He was later released on a Promise to Appear.
