Victoria has placed 7th on Conde Nast Travelers list of best cities.

And Vancouver faired well too, at number 6. Number one on the list is Tokyo, Japan.

Tourism Victoria said in a statement that this is "a huge deal" and that it signals that Victoria has arrived as a global brand. The Conde Nas Traveler 2016 Readers Poll saw readers cast 100-thousand votes for their favourite cities. US cities are not included.
