On Saturday, Nov. 18, View Royal residents vote for a new councilor to replace Heidi Rast
View Royal residents go to the polls Saturday to elect one councillor. The by-election was called after Heidi Rast resigned her council seat in August to relocate to Prince Edward Island.
General voting day is November 18, 2017: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Voting takes place at View Royal Elementary School, 218 Helmcken Road
Six candidates are running and the winner will host the post until the fall of 2018 when the next full municipal elections are held.
