Victoria MP Murray Rankin has been named a finalist for Mclean's "Hardest Working" Parliamentarian of the year.

The award winners are decided by Members of Parliaments through a ballot system. Members are asked to nominate their colleagues from within their parties and from rival partisan stripes.
