It happened last Friday outside the Browns Social house near the Langley overpass and 200s street just before midnight.
31-year-old Tyler Pastuck was pronounced dead and another man was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries.
Cpl. Meghan Foster says the restaurant was busy and the brazen shooting is believed to be targeted.
Homicide investigators and the BC Coroners Service are looking into the case.
