Victoria Police say two people are recovering in hospital, after three separate collisions within a 45-minute period Thursday night.
The first involving a motorcycle, happened at Cook and Pandora Streets at 6:17 p.m.
VicPD report the motorcyclist was driving contrary to his restrictions as a newly-licensed rider, by not having a supervisor with him.
The rider has non-life-threatening injuries.
Less than 30 minutes later, patrol officers were called to the 900-block of Mason for a report of a hit & run.
A citizen called 911 to report a driver had struck a parked vehicle, got out of his vehicle, and walked away from the scene -- while showing clear signs of impairment.
Patrol officers located the driver nearby and arrested him.
Six minutes later, at 6:51 p.m., a vehicle running stop sign, hit a cyclist at the intersection of Scott and Haultain streets.
The driver told police his brakes were malfunctioning. He was fined, his vehicle was towed.
The cyclist was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
