Victoria Police say Special Victims Unit Investigators have additional information provided by members of the public into alleged sexual assaults by a 70-year-old Esquimalt man.
Kit Wong faces four charges of sexual assault relating to his work as an acupuncturist, massage and traditional Chinese medicine practitioner out of his home-based business in Esquimalt.
Wong also served as an officer in the Canadian Armed Forces. Although not a member of the medical staff, Wong did practice traditional Chinese medicine on service members.
Wong was arrested on Tuesday August 14th, and has since been released on bail with conditions.
After the arrest police appealed for anyone with more information to come forward, and since that appeal, additional people have contacted police and investigators are following up.
The charges against Wong have not been proven in court.
