It's been 13 years since family and friends of Belinda Ann Cameron last saw her, and Victoria Police are issuing an appeal for information on the anniversary of her disappearance in the hopes of finally bringing her home.
The last confirmed sighting was at Esquimalt's Shoppers Drug Mart in the 800-block of Esquimalt Road on May 11th, 2005.
She was reported missing nearly a month later sparking an extensive investigation and series of searches.
VicPd say Belinda's disappearance is considered suspicious, and that she was the victim of foul play. Her file continues to be investigated as a homicide.
At the time of her disappearance, Belinda was a 42 year-old Indigenous woman, who stood 5'5" tall, sher had a medium to large build, and weighed about 170 pounds. Belinda had dark brown eyes, and wore her long, dark brown hair parted in the middle. .
She would have turned 55 years-old this year. Her daughters are now adults want to understand their mother's disappearance.
