Officers were called to a retail store in the 700block of Yates Street last Friday for a report of an assault. When officers arrived they discovered one of the staff members suffering from nonlifethreatening injuries.
Victoria Police is asking assistance to identify a man sought as a suspect in a random assault of an employee at a downtown retail outlet.

The suspect is described as white male between 20-25 years of age, standing 5 feet, 11 inches tall with a medium build. The man has "mop-like" brown hair with curly bangs, and brown eyes. He was wearing a dark blue button up shirt with white flowers on it with the sleeves rolled to the forearms, and blue jeans.
