Port McNeil RCMP are searching for a 37-year-old Vancouver Island woman who has been missing for about a week.
Police say Twyla Roscovich was reported missing on Sept. 12 after leaving her Port McNeil home.
She was last believed to be in the Campbell River or Quadra Island area September seventh and eighth. But she hasn't been seen or heard from in several days.
Police say the North Island environmental photographer sent a text message saying she would be camping near Nanaimo in her car, but her family has posted on Facebook that the vehicle has been found while the woman remains missing.
She is described as five-feet, nine-inches tall with brown hair and blue eyes.
Police are asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact their local RCMP detachment.
