A snowboarder in his 20's has died at Mt. Washington. Officials confirm the male was found unresponsive yesterday afternoon in a treed area.
The Resort's Risk Manager Dale Logan says the victim male had been snowboarding off-trail but within the Resort's boundary.
Mt. Washington officials say the boarder was not reported missing and it's unclear if he was on his own at the resort.
The tragedy comes as resort staff had been celebrating a record 110 cm of snow in a 24 hr span over the weekend.
The incident has been turned over to the BC Corner Service.
