Tuesday will mark 5 years since Emma Fillipoff vanished from the streets of Victoria.
It was November 28th, 2012 that the 26 year old was last seen near the Empress Hotel. A man called police after seeing her carrying her shoes, and looking confused.
Police officers found her and talked to her for three quarters of an hour before deciding there was no reason to detain her. She was allowed to go, and was never seen again.
Her mother Shelley offered a $25-thousand reward for information on her daughter's whereabouts -- but 5 years later she knows nothing more.
Shelley is back in Victoria to take part in a walking vigil which is slated to start at 7pm in front of the information centre in Victoria's Inner Harbour.
Meantime, if you have any information on Emma Fillipov's disappearance or whereabouts -- call Victoria police, or Crime Stoppers to remain anonymous.
