This year's Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock riders will gather at Admiral's Walk Saturday before they, and their support crew, head Up Island.
Jan Buehler from the Canadian Cancer Society says everyone is welcome to come and say goodbye at 7 o'clock Saturday morning, "absolutely! Come out and say goodbye and cheer them on."
Buehler says from there they'll head to Port Alice where the bike riding begins. The over 1,100 kilometre ride will wind through communities all the way down Vancouver Island raising money and awareness for kids with cancer.
The Tour de Rock ends in Victoria two weeks from now.
