The Tour de Rock comes down the Malahat Wednesday.
Sometime between (approximately) 9:30 and 11 in the morning the Cops for Cancer riders and their entourage will go up and over the Malahat.
Rider Joanne Bickford, of the Sannich Police Department, says it's a big moment when they come into Greater Victoria, "I think for a lot of us it's home. It's always a good feeling."
The afternoon will be spent visiting schools in the West Shore and Sooke. After that, the Tour de Rock will crisscross the whole Capital Region before wrapping up in Victoria's Centennial Square on Friday.
The Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock raises money for cancer research and to send kids with cancer to Camp Goodtimes.
