Police have made an arrest in Wednesday's bank robbery at Tillicum Mall.
They nabbed a suspect in downtown Victoria this afternoon. He's a a 52 year old man who investigators have connected to other recent robberies over the past 5 days -- all involving a firearm.
The first happened earlySaturday morning at the 7-11 at 10 Burnside Road West. The second happened the following morning at the 7-11 in the 37-hundred block of Carey Road.
A female involved in the second 7-11 robbery remains unknown.
The third robbery was at the TD bank at the Tillicum Mall Wednesday afternoon in the 300-block Burnside Road West.
Police are recommending the man be charged with 3 counts of Robbery with a Firearm. He is in custody and will be appearing in court Friday.
