This weekend marks 12 years since a young realtor was murdered as she showed a home to a couple in Saanich.
24 year old Lindsay Buziak was stabbed to death inside the home on February 2nd, 2008.
Police have not been able to find the couple described as a 6-foot-tall Caucasian man with dark hair, and a blonde-haired woman aged between 35 and 45 wearing a distinctively patterned dress.
Lindsay's father -- Jeff Buziak -- keeps the case in the spotlight by holding an annual 'Walk for Justice' in her honour. It goes on Sunday morning -- and Buziak says the route is changing this year:
" We meet at the Saanich Municipal Hall at 10 a.m. and give time for everybody to chat and just discuss what's going on with this horrible situation. And then we'll have a nice walk down to the legislature"
Buziak has been publicly critical of the investigation over the years. He says the route change is shorter, and designed to put pressure on Saanich police and BC politicians.
"There is no reason, there is no justification, there is no explanation why a young woman is murdered and the case is unsolved."
Saanich police say the case remains open and active, and they continue to investigate any and all tips -- but they can say nothing more as they don't want to jeopardize the investigation.
