29 year old Victoria man facing charges
West Shore RCMP seized drugs and cash after stopping a suspected stolen vehicle last week.
Officers with the Crime Reduction Unit located the car, stopped it, and confirmed it had been stolen in Langford. The driver was also prohibited from driving.
Inside police found a bag containing an assortment of drugs they suspect to be methamphetamine (10.5 grams), cocaine ( 6 grams), opioids (51 grams), and 55 prescription pills, along with $950 in cash.
Further investigation lead officers to a storage unit. Using a search warrant they found hundreds of stolen tools and are in the process of returning them to the rightful owners. 29 yr old Ryan Fletcher of Victoria is charged with trafficking in a controlled substance and is being held in custody pending a court appearance.
