Multiple flights were cancelled out of Victoria Friday as Vancouver received a blast of wintery weather.
There were several flight cancellations at Victoria International Airport to and from Vancouver. Harbour Air Seaplanes canceled all of their flights.
Harbour Air spokesperson Shelly Lee says "passengers who are flexible who can fly out tomorrow have been rebooked. The cancellations today were made as a safety precaution"
Periods of snow will continue through most of tonight as the associated low pressure system crosses the area. Environment Canada says Vancouver and the Fraser Valley are now forecast to see up to 20 cm of snow by tonight.. Higher elevations near the North shore Mountains could see as much as 25 cm.
