Saanich investigate MVI as skateboarder struck in cross walk
Saanich police are still investigating a serious motor vehicle incident at McKenzie and the Pat Bay Highway northbound on-ramp.
A male skateboarder who was crossing the entrance to the on ramp, in a cross walk, was struck by an eastbound vehicle as it was turning onto the on-ramp.
The male skateboarder sustained a head injury and was transported to hospital where he is currently in serious condition. His next of kin have been located and notified.
