RCMP received a complaint of a car travelling south in the northbound lane on the Pat Bay highway near the McTavish overpass around 6:45 Wednesday night.
Another vehicle attempting to avoid the wrongway car. swerved and crashed.
A witness reported the suspect car u-turned immediately, exiting the highway at McTavish.
The car is possibly a late model A4 Audi.
