A sidewalk at Cook and Johnson Streets collapsed just before noon today threatening vehicles parked nearby.
Crews responded after a water main burst causing a large sinkhole, and nearby vehicles had to be towed away so they didn't fall in.
Victoria police and City of Victoria crews were on scene blocking the area off to traffic.
The sidewalk collapsed into an excavated construction site for The Wade condominiums.
A security fence surrounding the perimeter also fell into the hole.
