You may be on camera during the upcoming Victoria Pride parade on Sunday.
As with previous events, Victoria Police say they will be deploying temporary cameras in support of their operations to ensure public safety during this year's Pride Parade.
They say while there is no information indicating a known threat to this event, public gatherings have been the targets of past attacks world-wide.
Vic-PD says the cameras also help with incidents of lost children or medical emergencies.
The cameras are placed in public spaces in accordance with B.C. and national privacy legislation.
They will be deployed in the next two days and will be taken down a short time after the event.
