Rain or shine the 35th annual Island Farms Santa’s Light Parade takes to the streets Saturday at 5:45.
The parade begins at the corner of Government and Belleville Street, near the B.C. Legislature, and make its way past the Empress Hotel before finishing at Fisgard Street.
This year’s parade will include more than 80 entries and 1,600 participants making their way down Government Street.
Spectators are reminded to visit Centennial Square following the parade for milk and cookies and an appearance by the Jolly one himself -- he's going to stick around for the 9th annual
Centennial Square Christmas Tree Light-Up as thousands of lights are switched on to create a Winter Wonderland in the Square.
