Saanich Police say they've identified one suspect in a home invasion last Wednesday, and have issued an arrest warrant 31 year old Christopher Corey Wilson of North Saanich.
Just after 11 am on June 21st officers were called to a report of a home invasion in the 4700 block of Rosehill Road in the Beaver Lake area.
Two men were inside the residence when 2 others forced their way into the house. The suspects were each carrying a firearm and demanded money and property. One of the victims, a 36 year old Saanich man, suffered injuries after being struck on the head with a firearm. He was treated at hospital and has since been released. The other victim, a 33 year old Saanich man, was unharmed.
Saanich Police say investigation enabled them to ID one of the suspects.
Wilson is described as Caucasian, 5’8" tall, 179 lbs, with short red hair and blue eyes.
A warrant for Wilson's arrest has been issued on 2 counts of Robbery, 1 count of Break and Enter, 2 counts of using a firearm or imitation firearm during the commission of an offence, 1 count of assault, and 1 count of forcible confinement.
