The summer festival season looks promising as Atomique Productions announces three of major music festivals will return to the Island this summer.
Rock the Shores returns after taking a year off and will reconvene on the West Shore this July with a diverse line-up of International, Canadian and local artists and bands.
Organizers of Vancouver Island's Tall Tree festival announced early last month they would be taking a year break, citing a low Canadian dollar and an oversaturated concert market for the 2018 cancellation. It hopes to return in 2019.
Atomique has also announced a return of the Phillips Backyard Weekender July 20-22. And Rifflandia rolls out September 13th or its 11th year as Victoria's official end of summer concert of the year.
