A plan to add new Clipper service from Victoria to Vancouver has been shelved.
The company blames unexpected operational costs associated with the Vancouver dock for preventing the route from moving ahead.
Instead the company's newest and fastest vessel -- the high speed catamaran "Clipper V" -- will be added to the exisiting Seattle to Victoria route starting in the spring.
The vessel is 52-meters long (170 feet), can travel at speeds up to 36 knots, and can carry 440 passengers.
