Video cameras on board a BC Transit bus that was targeted with a pellet gun last week have paid off.
West Shore RCMP say they have a vehicle of interest and are looking for the public’s help to identify the car. It's a dark coloured, 4 door sedan. West Shore RCMP are looking to speak with the operator of the vehicle. The car was headed aolong Craigflower towards View Royal at the time.
Investigators are looking to speak with the operator of the vehicle, and hope the driver and those responsible will hear the car has been photographed and will come and speak with investigators about the events of that day.
It was about 8:30 am last Wednesday (January 17) that a fully-loaded double decker bus had 2 windows shattered by pellets that struck a window right behind the driver, as well as at the rear of the bus. Both pellets struck at the same height which led to speculation the shooter had been in a passing car.
RCMP are also asking for additional witnesses and the public’s help to identify the car. If you have any information call West Shore RCMP or CrimeStoppers.
