A stretch of a busy route in View Royal was closed for over four hours Wednesday evening after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.
A stretch of a busy route in View Royal was closed for over four hours Wednesday evening after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle.
West Shore RCMP say the pedestrian was hit around 6pm on Old Island Highway near the Craigflower / Admirals Rd intersection.
RCMP say the person was in and out of consciousness while being rushed to hospital, but was breathing.
No word on the age, gender or condition of the person struck. The driver is cooperating with police.
