The operators of the MV V2V Empress hope to have the luxury passenger vessel back in the water soon.
Mechanical problems forced V2V Vacations to pull the ferry between Victoria and Vancouver out of service in August, the second time the new service was sidelined.
Two new engines for the MV V2V Empress arrived Friday at Point Hope Maritime where they will be tested and installed in the ship.
When the engines are installed and sea trials are completed, the MV V2V Empress will return to harbour-to-harbour service.
No word on when that will be.
