The owner of a pick up truck that went up in flames early Friday morning believes it was intentionally set.
The 2 year old Ford F250 was parked outside a home in the 2100-block of Neil Street when it exploded in flame just after 3 a.m.
Truck owner, Michael Magdalenich, says he got up to let his dog out, and within 20 minutes heard a loud bang.
He went to the front door and saw his truck totally engulfed in flames. A nearby vehicle was also damaged.
Magdalenich says he can't think why anyone would do such a thing, but he's convinced it was intentional. He also lost his wallet in the fire.
Oak Bay police and fire crews investigated, and have turned the case over to ICBC.
