The owner of a pick up truck that went up in flames early Friday morning believes it was intentionally set. The Ford F250 was parked outside a home in the 2100-block of Neil Street when it burst into flames just after 3 a.m.
Truck owner, Michael Magdalenich, says he got up to let his dog out and less than 20 minutes later he heard a loud bang. He was shocked to see his truck totally engulfed in flames. A nearby vehicle was also damaged.
Magdalenich says he can't think why anyone would do such a thing, but he's convinced it was intentional. He also lost his wallet in the blaze.
Oak Bay police and fire crews are investigating, but have yet to confirm the fire is suspicious.
