RCMP in Nootka Sound are asking for assistance in locating a missing resident who was last seen in Victoria.
RCMP say they received a tip that 61 year old Dan Lockhart was spotted in downtown Victoria the week of January 12.
Investigators say Lockhart is familiar with the Victoria area, and has spent time here in the past.
Police are very concerned for Mr. Lockhart's well-being. They say he appeared disoriented the last time he was seen in Nootka Sound on January 6.
