Nanaimo RCMP caught a woman breaking into not just one -- but 2 Bait Cars on the same night Wednesday.
After officers were alerted to a theft from the first Bait Car parked in central Nanaimo they reviewed surveillance video, and got the description of the suspect and the item taken. Sixteen minutes later a second Bait Car was activated, and a review of video revealed the same woman.
Within minutes the suspect was found and arrested with the stolen item in her possession. She also had several pieces of Government ID as well as mail from nearby residences.
RCMP say investigators also found a note they are calling her "shopping list" -- basically a wish list of items her friends wanted stolen from vehicles. Among the items on the list: underwear, makeup, speakers, compression socks and size 10 Nike hightops.
33 year old Kimberly Taylor of Nanaimo faces a charge of possession of stolen property and has her first date with the courts December 5th.
