Vic-PD Domestic Violence Unit Detectives are asking for assistance in locating a man wanted for assault and theft. He also has outstanding warrants in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
They say 32 year old Jason Krause was the subject of a large police presence in the area of Shelbourne Road and Haultain Street where the Greater Victoria Emergency Response Team was activated in an attempt to take Krause into custody.
It was determined that Krause was not at the location and has not been taken into custody.
Police say if you see Krause do not approach him and call 9-1-1.
