This year's Rifflandia Festival has it's first major headliner's.
Organizer's of this year's Rifflandia Festival have released the first wave of headline acts among them is multiple platinum performer/producer Moby.
His 1999 album Play was the biggest selling electronica album of all time.
Nick Blasko, organizer of the annual festival says the reaction has been very positive. "It's a DJ set and I think it involves some singing and he has a big visual show behind him too. It's just not his whole band. But this is how you get Moby most of the time. It's funny because people identify with him as a DJ and we're just really excited to have him as part of our festival."
Other acts include Richard Melville Hall; Zed's Dead and Grammy-nominated U.K. group Hot Chip.
The festival takes place on 14 stages throughout the downtown core and the main area at Royal Athletic Park.
The event runs September 14th to 17th.
