A man causing a disturbance on an Air Canada Jazz flight had to be removed from the plane on the tarmac of the Victoria International airport around 11:30 a.m. this morning.
RCMP had to be called to the scene but by the time they arrived the person had already been escorted off the plane. RCMP spokesman Cpl. Chris Manseau tells CTV Vancouver Island,
“the matter was quickly resolved without incident,” he said. “The passenger was removed prior to our attendance and he went off on his way. The person was very apologetic for their behaviour and hopefully they’ve learned their lesson.” It’s unclear what kind of disturbance was caused, but police said there will be no charges in the incident.
