VicPD are looking for witnesses to an altercation and stabbing in Centennial Square early Saturday morning.
Spokesman Bowen Osoko says a suspect was arrested not far from the scene -- and the victim, who called 911 himself, was not seriously hurt:
"The man who was stabbed, he had non-life threatening injuries that were treated on scene by BC Emeregncy Health Service paramedics. The suspect who was arrested was transported to cells and eventually released on conditions, including conditions to not attend Centennial Square and the surrounding area."
Recommended charges include assault with a weapon.
It's not known what led to the altercation, and neither man knew one another.
Police are appealing for any witnesses they haven't spoken with yet to come forward.
