It's going to be a chilly, but safe, night for two lost skiers on Mount Seymour.
North Shore Rescue Team Leader Mike Danks says they were called about the two at around 5, just as darkness fell.
The pair became lost in the back-country, and called a friend from a North Shore Rescue supply cache, saying they'd follow some markers out.
Danks says they've made contact with them.
"We did communicate with them to head back down to our cache. There's very minimal equipment to keep them alive overnight there, but that is the safest way to get them out."
The cache has blankets, food, water, and a small stove to keep warm.
He says crews will make their way up to rescue them at first light.
