There's a heavy police presence on the Selkirk waterway this (Tuesday) afternoon after reports of a body being found.
Police were called to the scene after 2 kayakers spotted something in the water near the Fairway Gorge Paddling Club.
Witnesses say the kayakers towed something to a dock. That's where police were seen holding up a tarp, and examining something behind it.
It was earlier this month that police and dive teams were searching the Gorge in Esquimalt for a missing 26 year old man.
Duncan Pucker was last seen at 3:30 a.m. Feb. 4 in the 900-block of Arm Street, near the waterway. No trace of him has been found.
No one is saying if the victim found today is a male or female.
The BC Coroner's service has been made aware of the situation.
