An 11 year old Parksville boy who inspired all who heard his story, died Thursday of brain cancer.
Kaiden Finley was diagnosed in May 2017. The tumour was removed at B.C. Children’s Hospital, but last September an MRI revealed the cancer had returned and spread.
Kaiden shared his story to help others battling the disease, and to raise awareness and funds. He was also a junior rider in the Cops for Cancer Tour de Rock.
His mother, Tasha, says she is determined to raise awareness about the disease, and is asking anyone who can do so to take part in the Victoria Brain Tumour Walk on Sunday May 26th at UVic.
His team, Kaiden’s Kape Krusaders, has raised over $1,800 in donations to help others battling brain tumours.
