The world's tallest gnome has begun his road trip down island to his newest home.
Howard, the 8 metre tall gnome, is moving from the gas station by the highway in Nanoose Bay, to Galey Farms in Saanich.
Howard can be taken apart in 4 pieces, but needed some additional surgery in order to make the trip.
An arm had to be removed because he was too wide with it for the highway.
Howard wont be immediately set up when he gets to his new home, instead he'll be taken into the workshop to be refurbished, and possibly mechanized, so he can wave his giant hand at those who visit him at the farm.
