Government workers in downtown Victoria will stage a noon hour march and rally Wednesday, to mark the two year anniversary of the Phoenix pay system fiasco.
The federal NDP have demanded an apology for the Liberal government.
Randall Garrison, NDP MP for Esquimalt-Saanich-Sooke, says the pay problem has been going on so long, it's now having a domino effect.
"Employees not wanting to take a promotion or not wanting to step in when someone's away on leave, because they're afraid they're not going to get paid at all. That has happened to alot of people in my riding."
150,000 public servants across Canada have been affected in some way, by the problems plaguing with Phoenix pay system.
Garrison brought personal stories of effected public servants from his riding to the House of Common debate on Monday, saying the faulty system is creating new cases every day, and it should be fixed or abandoned immediately.
The Phoenix March & Rally is scheduled for noon to 1pm Wednesday on Government Avenue.
