In Esquimalt, the Tudor House Liquor Store is open again after vandals smashed several glass panels that make up a significant part of the building.
The store, at the corner of Esquimalt Road and Admirals, closed for part of the day Sunday after five of those panels were smashed.
In a post on Facebook, the store says it could take months to replace the custom glass. In the meantime, wood is covering the holes.
In a further statement on Facebook, the Tudor House says it happened sometime between 1:15 and 1:40am. It does not appear anybody got inside and nothing was stolen.
They’re asking anyone with information to contact police, who are now investigating the apparent case of vandalism.
