West Shore RCMP have released a police sketch artists' rendition of what a suspect in a robbery on the Galloping Goose looks like.
It was on Wednesday at 1pm RCMP received a report of a robbery that took place on the Galloping Goose trail near Glen Lake in Langford, at the very West end of Rowils Crescent.
A man was approached a male suspect armed with a knife who demanded the victim’s bag.
The suspect was last seen running on the board walk at Glen Lake.
Despite a quick response, and flooding the area with officers -- including the Bike unit and K9 services -- the suspect escaped capture.
Working with the victim a sketch artist created a composite drawing of the suspect, described as a tall black man with a medium build, about 6'3" tall, between 30 and 40 years of age, who was wearing a black hoodie and pants.
