The man facing a number of charges in the death of a West Shore RCMP officer has had his initial court appearance bumped back by a month.
Charges against twenty-eight year-old Kenneth Jacob Fenton include Impaired Driving Causing Death, and Flight From Police Causing Death.
Fenton was charged last week after a lengthy investigation into a two-vehicle collision that killed Cst. Sarah Beckett in Langford on April 5.
Fenton was scheduled to make his first court appearance on the matter on September 29, but that has been rescheduled to October 27. The reason for the delay is not clear.
