A reminder to mind your road manners -- even when off-roading.
Fines are increasing for those whose don't respect ecologically sensitive regions.
The BC Government says effective immediately, anyone operating an off-road vehicle in sensitive habitats, including all BC Parks, will face a $575 fine.
In some cases, that's more than double previous fines of either $230 or $345.
Violation tickets may be issued by conservation officers, natural resource officers or park rangers as well as police.
