Chow down on some soup, and you can keep the bowl.
Thursday from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm the 21st annual Souper Bowls of Hope takes place at Crystal Garden.
The lunchtime fundraiser supports the Victoria Youth Empowerment Society (YES) with its downtown drop-in centre, counselling programs and services for youth and their families.
Approximately 400 attendees will enjoy a bowl of soup and entertainment, take part in silent, live auctions and draws then choose a locally made bowl to keep among over 1,000 available.
This year's event is focused on 'Helen's Place,' the downtown drop-in centre for youth aged 13 to 21 who are street entrenched or at-risk.
